Xavier's story

The Xavier Krikori Foundation was established in memory of Xavier Krikori who at age 17 lost his battle with sarcoma.
Xav was diagnosed with ewing’s sarcoma, an aggressive soft-tissue cancer that led him to his death in just 8 months.
Xav’s diagnosis however, was not straight-forward. Feeling unwell, he was in-and-out of hospital for a couple of months before his undiagnosed tumour burst through his bowels sending the deadly cancer cells through his body.
Xavier’s experience highlights the need for early detection and treatment of sarcoma. It is a cancer that targets young people and early detection is the only chance for survival.
