Rob is Xavier’s father. He is a sole-trader running his own business, ‘the Mowing Lad’ holding various large commercial contracts, He established his business after the collapse of Ansett where he was an inventory analyst for many years. Rob is heavily involved in the foundation’s fundraising activities and is particularly passionate about ‘Making Sarcoma History’.

Mary is Xavier’s mother. She is the principal of an inner-Melbourne primary school and has a Master of Educational Leadership and Management. Mary has built an educational philosophy that centres on building a culture of excellence in which every child succeeds as a learner. Together with her husband Rob, and her three remaining children, Mary has lived with the loss and sadness associated with the footprint Sarcoma has left on their lives.  For over 10 years she has fought passionately to 'Make Sarcoma History', and will continue to do so through the Kicking Goals for Xav Foundation.

Gabrielle is the Dean, Health Science, Community & Social Services at Holmesglen, with qualifications in nursing, midwifery, nursing education, public health, management and a Professional Doctorate in Education. Gabby is a Registered Nurse and Midwife with extensive experience in midwifery, community health, indigenous health, and nursing education, and has a very strong background in management, leadership and partnership building skills. Gabrielle is also the senior editor and contributor of Tabbners Nursing Care & Theory 9E and Essential Enrolled Nursing Skills 3E, which are major nursing textbooks for the Diploma of Nursing both nationally and internationallyAdd a short bio for each team member.
